Is there any way to use DirectQuery for Dynamics 365 Business Central?

I always use webservice to connect Business Central by PowerBI.

But recently I have a question: Is it possible to use DirectQuery for Dynamics 365 Business Central?

After my researching, I found that so far PowerBI could not connect Business Central with DirectQuery or LiveConnection

If you want to directly access the database tables in azure from dynamics business central, you will deploy a Business Central database to Microsoft Azure SQL Database.
